Chef Rafaela

Rafaela's Dream

Mrs. Potato Restaurant was born from a dream – a dream of Rafaela Cabede, a Brazilian native with a love for cooking that dates back to her adolescence.

After relocating to the United States, Rafaela fell in love with the restaurant industry while working in an Italian eatery. Inspired by her culinary talents and her desire to share the flavors of Brazil in a unique way, she embarked on a journey to open her own establishment.

Why "Mrs. Potato"?

As the creative force behind the recipes, Rafaela knew the restaurant needed a name that reflected her role and would be memorable, catchy, and fun. Initially considering "Mr. Potato," she had an epiphany – she was the chef and owner, and she decided on "Mrs. Potato."

Our Commitment

At Mrs. Potato Restaurant, we're committed to providing excellent service. We serve authentic Brazilian food at affordable prices in a clean and comfortable environment. We want every guest to feel like they're dining with friends, experiencing comfort food like never before, and savoring memories of Sunday lunches at their grandparents' homes.

Signature Dish: The Brazilian Rosti Potato

Our culinary masterpiece is the Brazilian Rosti Potato, a delightful twist on the Swiss classic. Introduced to the southern region of Brazil by immigrants, we've taken the original dish and stuffed it with a medley of ingredients, creating a spectrum of flavor variations. The result is a Swiss dish with a Brazilian twist that's truly unique to Mrs. Potato.

"Food should feel generous. Every stuffed potato carries our roots, our memories, and our table."

A Casual and Playful Atmosphere

Our restaurant ambiance is casual and fun, adorned with a vast collection of Mr. and Mrs. Potato Heads that decorate our walls. We proudly display a "Wall of Fame" showcasing our awards, critic reviews, and media articles.
